Welcome to the Swindon Extended Schools Network page.
What are extended school services?
Extended services are projects in schools that will provide a range of services and activities, often beyond the school day, to help meet the needs of children, their families and the wider community.
They can include wraparound childcare, adult education, parenting support programmes, after school activities including study support, community access and swift and easy referral to specialist support services.
The Extended Service Core Offer!
For mainstream and special schools is:

Primary schools to provide access to high quality childcare combined with a varied menu of activities, from 8.00am to 6.00pm, 5 days a week, 48 weeks a year.

Secondary schools to provide access to a varied menu of study support and enrichment activities

Schools to provide access to parenting support.

Swift and easy access to use specialist services.

Schools to ensure they provide community access.

Cricket Coaching
Swindon NALGO Cricket Club have been working with Steve Silk who is the English Cricket Board Development officer for Wiltshire to provide cricket coaching for youngsters in the North Swindon area.
